two GRAVEL ROUTES
one EXPERIENCE
For the Marly Grav Experience, route designer Gijs Bruinsma has created beautiful gravel routes via our route partner komoot. During this two-day gravel adventure, you will traverse three countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
Along the way, you will encounter a fantastic course with challenging climbs, beautiful descents, stunning highlights, and a varied terrain of gravel, cobblestones, and asphalt. A great experience for every gravel enthusiast!
On the way, you will encounter beautiful highlights. We've already highlighted a few for you. Curious for more? Check them out on Komoot!
The Vaalserberg, at 322 meters the highest point in the Netherlands, is a beautiful climb for gravel enthusiasts. During the Marly Grav Experience, you cycle along the unpaved route to the Three Countries Point. Heading towards the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany!
Monschau is a picturesque village in the German Eifel, where half-timbered houses, winding streets, and a babbling river together create a fairy-tale setting. Nestled between the rolling hills, it feels as if you are taking a leap back in time. It is the perfect spot for a break.
The Vennbahn is a historic cycling path of 125 kilometres that winds through three countries: Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This former railway offers a relaxed, mostly flat ride through lush forests, idyllic valleys, and charming villages. Along the way, the route crosses the beautiful nature reserve of Hoge Venen.
Eyneburg Castle, nestled in the hills of the German Eifel, is a place where history and mysticism meet. This medieval castle dates back to the 12th century and once served as a stronghold against intruders. Fun fact: according to local legends, Eyneburg even has its own ghost!
Shimano is a top brand in the cycling world. At the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg, you can view and test the latest materials yourself. It's all about the experience here!
As the home base of Marly Grav Experience, this is the place where everything comes together: start, finish, and afterparty.
